A bridge between insight and action
From Deck to Desk – Decades of Maritime Expertise
We started Vantix Marine not in an office, but on the water — as working mariners, surveyors, and engineers. This all began as a side project: helping a few colleagues, solving urgent technical issues between contracts, and sharing knowledge from years at sea. Word spread, and what was once a favor turned into something more.
We come from the bridge, not the boardroom —
that’s why we know what works at sea
We’ve spent our careers onboard ships, in dry docks, and in engine rooms — not just behind a desk. That real-world experience still shapes how we work today: practical, responsive, and always professional. Vantix Marine is built by people who understand the job because we’ve lived it.
Audits
We offer navigational, safety, and operational audits that go beyond compliance. Our goal isn’t just to check if procedures exist — it’s to understand how they’re applied onboard, how the crew interacts with them, and where things can be improved without disrupting workflow.
We speak the same language as the crew —
and we know what matters when you're out there.
Our audits are always tailored — not copy-pasted. Whether it’s reviewing bridge procedures, safety management practices, or overall crew performance, we focus on the human element, real risks, and achievable improvements.
All our auditors are seasoned professionals with years of sea service and shore-side operational experience.
Navigational Audit
Our navigational audits are carried out by experienced seafarers with recent sea-going backgrounds. The focus is on real Bridge Team behavior, effective Bridge Resource Management (BRM), ECDIS usage, and navigational safety practices.
These audits are not about ticking boxes — they are designed to identify operational risks, improve situational awareness, and support masters and officers in making confident, informed decisions.
In line with the ISM Code (Section 12.1), which requires Companies to conduct periodic safety and operational audits, we provide objective assessments and practical feedback to help shore management verify that bridge procedures are followed as intended.
Our reports are clear, actionable, and built to support a culture of continuous improvement and compliance — both onboard and ashore.
We’ve stood that watch —
that’s why we care how it’s done.
ISM, ISPS, MLC Audits
Audits are not just a regulatory checkbox — they are critical tools for identifying gaps before they become failures. Our audits are conducted by professionals with real sea experience, ensuring your systems are reviewed with practical insight and full compliance awareness — not just paperwork.
We can take full care of your internal audits — onboard or ashore — ensuring they’re done thoroughly, on time, and in line with international requirements.
We help shipping companies meet their obligations under key international frameworks: ISM Code, Section 12.1.; ISPS Code Part A, Section 9.4.15; MLC Regulation 5.1.5.
We’ve lived by these rules at sea —
now we help you apply them with clarity and care.
Custom Audits & Safety Inspections
Whether you need an internal audit, a fresh external perspective, a third-party safety inspection, a pre/post-PSC check, or a focused operational review — we tailor every audit to your specific vessel, operation, and needs.
Our approach is hands-on, practical, and free of unnecessary formalism. We speak the same language as your crew — because we’ve been there ourselves.
You can combine multiple audits in a single visit — saving time, cost, and crew effort.
If it matters to your operation, we can audit it -
professionally, independently, and without wasting your crew’s time.
Plan Development & Documentation
We don’t just write plans —
we make sure they work on your vessel.
Some plans are required by regulation. Others are essential for safe, efficient operations. Either way — they must be realistic, vessel-specific, and understandable to the crew.
We support shipping companies by developing clear, compliant plans tailored to vessel type, trading area, and company procedures. Whether it's a new build, fleet update, or port-specific requirement, we make sure your documentation reflects how things are actually done on board — not just what looks good on paper.
Remote Magnetic Compass adjustment
Even in the age of advanced gyro and satellite-based systems, the magnetic compass remains a mandatory navigational instrument under international regulations, . According to SOLAS Chapter V, all ships, regardless of size or trading area, must carry a magnetic compass properly adjusted and readable from the main steering position.
We provide step-by-step correction guidance, prepare compliant deviation tables, validate compass repeaters, and issue deviation cards meeting SOLAS V/19.2.1.1 and ISO 25862:2019.
Compass adjustment is not just a service,
it’s a safety essential and our specialty.
Consultations & Operational Support
Not every issue requires a full audit — sometimes, you just need clear advice from someone who understands the job.
Whether you're preparing for an external inspection, reviewing procedures, resolving recurring issues, or looking for a second opinion, we provide practical consultations tailored to your vessel, operations, and priorities.
